How "We" Change this System

Updated: Jun 5

Researching history is a key to changing this broken system. We have all heard the saying, "you don't know where you're going, until you know where you've been". That saying is a clue to understanding who you are, who we are, and how to continue making change for the next generation.

With any relationship, the best thing to do is research to understand who and what you are dealing with. What's undeniable, we are making change! So one time for all of "US" for doing our part. Let's not stop making progress just because the smoke clears, let's continue to push the barrier that has so long controlled the world. We have to show up and actually create change within the system; i.e. voting, filling out your census, and actively being involved with your community. Yes, the upcoming election for president is the key focus right now, but local voting is just as important. The state of Alabama is a red state, a state that is predominantly black and a large amount of non black and non white people live here. You'd never know because we never fill out our census! In order to change the system, we have to play the rules of the system and infiltrate from the inside out!
